Request for Applications for 21stCentury Learning Centers (21st CCLC) and After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs)

The California Department of Education has released a Request for Applications for 21stCentury Learning Centers (21st CCLC) and After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs).  The purpose of both programs is to support the creation of community learning centers for elementary and middle school (21st CCLC) and high school (ASSETs) students, that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours, particularly for students who attend high poverty and low-performing schools.  Los Angeles Unified School District’s Beyond the Bell branch will be applying for 21st CCLC and ASSETs funds for all eligible LAUSD schools and dependent charters.  For more information, visit the State website at https://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/ex/fundingop.asp to obtain details, including a copy of the current Request for Applications and instructions.   Beyond the Bell’s application will be available for public review after submission of the application on November 16th, 2021.
